Tihana R, 5L

"On Friday 28 October I was selected by the team to come down to Tennis Australia National Tennis Centre to take part in what’s called Super 10s Support Program.

I had the lucky opportunity to thank Daria Saville in person for my birthday present she sent me from a fan letter I sent her, half of the Special K’s Thanasi Kokkinakis, legend Sam Stosur and her coach Rennae Stubbs.

I have been selected as a Victorian Metro squad member to participate in another event National Development squad collaboration session."

Ruby W, 4E

Earlier this year Ruby competed in the 2022 Victorian Interschools Snowsports Championships Team for EHPS. The competition was held at Mount Buller with schools from Regional and Metropolitan areas. 

“I was the only skier in the EHPS team, and I represented EHPS in the Victorian Interschools Championships (Mt Buller) and the Australian Championships (Perisher). I competed in moguls, skier cross and alpine giant slalom. It was a great experience and I was excited that I was able to ski at Perisher in NSW with the best skiers in Australia. The scariest part was skiing the moguls at Perisher, because the bumps and jumps were huge! I was able to finish top to bottom runs each time without falling and was very proud of myself!”

Ruby’s Australian Championships results for Grade 4 age females:

• Moguls – 11th out of 40 females
• Skier Cross – 20th out of 66 females
• Alpine Giant Slalom – 27th out of 70 females

2023 Swimming Squad Trials
