6P – Persuasive Posters

 

During Term 4, 6P have been working hard at writing quality persuasive texts. They have been using persuasive devices such as alliteration, rhetorical questions, statistics and data to make their writing more believable. This has made their persuasive texts much more convincing. 

To finish off our unit of work, the students studied an assortment of online ads and posters and the different ways companies try to persuade us to buy their products. They then had to chose a real product or make up a new product to advertise. They used persuasive devices such as emotive language, rhetorical questions and celebrity endorsements. The students produced quality work and were all really proud of the finished product.
