Technologies

Hi RNSS community,

We have had a huge Semester Two in Technologies learning about algorithms. Students have explored basic algorithms such as how to get ready in the morning and more complex algorithms, by coding to create games. Students have been able to identify a problem and come up with a solution by following an algorithm. I have seen a massive shift in student understanding of what the function of an algorithm is and how we can use them. To say I am proud is an understatement! 

This Semester we also looked at our drone and explored what a drone is and what purpose they serve. Students really enjoyed watching the drone take off and land and looking back on pictures and videos of themselves. 

I also wanted to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of the RNSS community. It has been an absolute pleasure and honour to be teaching at this fantastic school. I will definitely miss our RNSS community.
