Principal's Message

Foundation 2023 – Welcome to ARPS!

Today our cohort of 2023 Foundation students enjoyed their first day of ‘big school’ in the Foundation class with their 2023 teacher, Miss Megan Adaway. The students showed great skills in making friends, following directions and learning about 'how we do things' at school. Congratulations to all our families who have a Foundation student starting with ARPS in 2023, we are looking forward to a wonderful first year together!

Parent Helper’s Morning Tea Tuesday 6th December

Our school is all the better because of the extra-ordinary help received from our parents and members of our school community. You, our wonderful parents assist with classroom support, and with incursions and excursions. Our School Council and its Sub-committee members as well as the numerous Parent Association helpers, who plan school events and activities, add to the vision and culture of ARPS.

We, the teaching and support staff, have valued your assistance and participation in the school life of your students and their school. In your honour, we would like to extend an invitation to join us for morning tea, at 10:30am on Tuesday December 6th in the Function Room.

Community Support

One of the amazing features of our school, which I am always eager to share with families newly enrolled at our school, is the wonderful community connections and involvement we have at our school. An opportunity to showcase this commitment and school engagement, is when parents volunteer for special events and activities. This is particularly true for the Election Day Barbeque, where our school is regularly featured on the news as a Polling place of interest. We are really keen to have high numbers of parent volunteers showing their support for the school on the day at the BBQ. If you can spare an hour or two, please let the office know tomorrow!
