It was an unusual day for us at Oxford Falls with three after-match functions for our 1sts, 2nds and 3rds. The players were provided with an excellent variety of delicious foods and a special thank you to all the parents who helped at these functions.

Next year all teams will be playing their Round 7 matches on Saturday 3rd February. This is the first Saturday back next year. The training schedule for all teams will remain the same as this year.

Games of the day: There were so many close matches on Saturday that I can’t decide which one to choose - some went our way but we lost many by the closest of margins.

Play of the Day goes to the great support at Oxford Falls for the 1sts, 2nds and 3rds. It is amazing the lift that positive support can give a team.

Deserves a mention: Well done to all teams for their efforts during the first half of the season. I hope players will find time to practice over the holidays so we can start back next year on the front foot and keep the momentum going.
