Bunnings Sausage Sizzle – Sunday 13th October

We would like to say a quick thank you to everyone (as we missed the last newsletter). To all the volunteers who took a few hours out of their Sunday a HUGE thank you as we know Sunday’s are a family day so your time was greatly appreciated.  We spent $1073.91 and made just over $3000.00 (in total we sold 1200 sausages, 60 loaves of bread and 28kgs of onions!!!!) so your efforts paid off and our school is better off for it!

Italian Day – Tuesday 22nd October

It was wonderful to see so many students dress up in their favourite Italian characters or even just in the Italian colours!  I hope their efforts of making fresh pasta was celebrated at home with a wholesome meal for the whole family (I enjoyed it immensely. It was Bonissimo!) The children were rewarded for their efforts with some scrumptious gelato after lunch as a treat. From what I heard it was loved by all!  Thank you to Rose Piotti for organising the gelato on the day.

Christmas Night Market – Billboards and flyers

You may have noticed the billboards for our Christmas Night Market have gone up!! After many designs and reworks (by Maria Surace with help from Danielle Sportelli) we finally got our amazing end result! Thank you again to our flyer competition winner Samuel Louca from PEM. Incorporating your wonderful artwork in our design makes it look magical!

Flyers will soon be printed and we will require volunteers to do a letter drop around Moreland. A list of streets will be printed and whoever is willing to help can pick up a bundle of flyers from the school office along with an allocated set of streets. Please keep a look out for more details of when flyers will be available.
