Year 12 Graduation

Graduation Evening

Our Year 12 Graduation for 2016 was held on Saturday 5 November. Anthony Hamer, parents and students transformed the school hall into a beautifully elegant venue, only being eclipsed by the elegance and grace of our Year 12 girls. The boys also rose to the occasion arriving in all their finery.

The graduation ceremony was a wonderful event with just the right mixture of future gazing and melancholy. The evening saw some tears and laughter as students and parents reminisced about bygone school days and looked with eagerness towards the future paths they will travel.

Year 12 were particularly appreciative of Anthony Hamer and Pam Harris’ support and guidance as Year Advisors over the years, with a special thank you to Pam Harris who returned to Cowra High to host the graduation.

Cowra High wishes all Year 12 students the very best in all their endeavours.

Tie Dye T-shirts

The Year 7 Textiles Technology class recently tie-dyed t-shirts which created a wonderfully colourful display in the foyer. The gallery below showcases the students wearing their shirts!

Mo Bro Fundraising

To kick off the fundraising for "Movember" the students at Cowra High were told if they raised enough funds that Cameron Donnelly and Anthony Hamer, who are "Mo Bros", would volunteer to have their beards shaved off.   A group of Year 11 boys managed to raise $230 to kick off the student contribution, and the shave took place one lunchtime coinciding with the visit from Tour Da Country. The photos below tell the story!
