Jeans for Genes Day

On the 4th of August we had our Jeans for Genes Day. This day was a huge success with many students coming to school in jeans. The gold coin donation raised money for children’s medical research.

Doman Expo Night & Sponsor Child BBQ

On the 8th of August the Middle Years Campus held a Domain Expo. The SRC helped run a BBQ to help fundraise for Merliana our 13 year old  Sponsor child. It was great to see how many people brought a sausage and drink in support. We hope to continue to raise funds for such an amazing cause.

SRC Whittlesea Cluster Meeting

On Wednesday the 30th of August the year 7, 8 and 9 SRC representatives attended the Whittlesea SRC Cluster at the Council Offices. We discussed campaigning and advocacy and the ways we can create change school in our community. In collaborative mixed school groups we came up with ways to improve the community and discussed our campaigning could help us achieve this. It was a very informative day and we learnt a lot.  This day’s activities was just one other way we have built on our Leadership Journey this year.

Footy Finals Fever

Footy Finals Fever is upon us and on the 15th of September we held our footy colours/ sports day. Students brought a gold coin donation and came to school dressed in all their awesome sports attire. The Student Leaders ran sports competitions at lunchtime, with a soccer penalty shot, Basketball shoot and AFL longest kick competition.
