Pastoral Care Guest Speakers

In Pastoral Care last term we were lucky enough to be joined by guest speakers  ALFW star Moana Hope and ex-AFL player Jake Edwards. Hearing their tales of resilience and striving for greatness was fantastic and it was great to see so many Bradman students engaged and asking questions.

Feast Day

On June 22nd our Bradman community, together with the rest of our school celebrated CRC Sydenham's 35th Jade College Feast Day. The event begun with our 'Corpus Christi Mass' which was lead by His Grace, Archbishop Dennis Hart, and was co-celebrated by Fr John O'Reilly at St Patrick's Cathedral. The solemnity of 'Corpus Christi' invites our school community to unite and give thanks to God for the gift of the Eucharist -which is the body and blood of Christ. The mass also celebrated Father John O'Reily's achievements and service towards the CRC Federation. It was fantastic to see the participation and enthusiasm of our Bradman students, and their reverence and respect during the mass.

From St Patrick's Cathedral the College headed to Luna Park. The long-anticipated trip to Luna Park involved packed lunches, long lines and a sense of community which was a memorable way to end this year's Feast Day. We thank Father O'Reily for his efforts to making Catholic Regional College, a milestone in Australian Catholic Education.

Sports Report

In term 2, Bradman struggled a bit yet again with cluster sport. We only had one win in European Handball against Winton but we had great cluster spirit across all games of the term and we will be a force to be reckoned with in term 3 cluster sport, and can't wait to win some more games!
