Make time to visit a church during this most holy of times
We are currently racing towards Easter which is the holiest time of the church's year. It would be wonderful if you attended a church service with your son(s) at this time.
Holy Week began last Sunday, with Palm Sunday. We have the Last Supper celebration on Holy Thursday and we remember The Crucifixion on Good Friday. We then celebrate the miracle of Easter/new life on Easter Sunday with an Easter Egg.
Hopefully you will make time to visit a church during this most holy of times. It is important to take time so I have included the following prayer.
TAKE TIME
Take time to THINK…it is the source of power.
Take time to PLAY…it is the secret of perpetual youth.
Take time to READ…it is the fountain of wisdom.
Take time to PRAY…it is the greatest power on earth.
Take time to LOVE and BE LOVED...it is a God-given privilege.
Take time to BE FRIENDLY...it is the road to happiness.
Take time to LAUGH…it is the music of the soul.
Take time to GIVE…it is too short a day to be selfish.
Take time to WORK…it is the price of success.
Take time to DO CHARITY…it is the key to heaven.
The Easter season then extends from the Easter Vigil through to Pentecost 49 days later.

Rugby: Well done to all players on the great way they began their season on Saturday. Obviously very early days and plenty to work on but the enthusiasm, skills and camaraderie were commendable. We now train/trial for the remainder of the term in preparation for Rd 1 on Sat 5th May (first Sat back next term). There will be a 2 day clinic at Oxford Falls in the holidays for all interested players; perhaps a good way to up-skill for the approaching season.
