St James Oaks Day Ladies Lunch
Oaks Day lunch was attended by a group of enthusiastic St James Mums who wisely chose to avoid the treacherous Melbourne weather and enjoy lunch out of the elements at Vivace. We were not disappointed with the vibrancy of a roomful of dresses, hats and fascinators. A few sweeps ran throughout the day and the venue was a delight with market umbrellas, fresh flowers, big screens and a great spring racing atmosphere. Vivace had filled the restaurant with patrons so the ambience was bright and colourful. Enjoy our photos from the day.
Thanks to all who attended and hoping that everyone who celebrated Oaks Day, indoors or out, enjoyed themselves.
Our final St James Parents Association meeting will be the AGM and Thank You Dinner on Wednesday 27th November
In order to thank the parents of St James School, the evening will be held at 7:30pm at BriX Bar, 162 Martin Street - a new restaurant in Gardenvale. The AGM will be followed by al la carte dinner and SJPA will provide the drinks. This evening is to thank existing committee and volunteers, welcome new members and provide more information regarding our Parents Association. Please along to share a meal or just for a chat for an enjoyable evening. It is also an opportunity to provide a handover to the parents taking over your role in 2020 so we’d love to see you there!

This fun and relaxed event is from 7pm at the Elsternwick Park Bowling Club. The $30 ticket includes bowls and paella (gluten free & veg options).
Kick off your heels and walk barefoot to unwind and socialise following a busy year in the St James School community.
