MS Readathon

It’s almost that time again – MS Readathon!! 

Make sure to jump online and register your children:

1. Go to https://www.msreadathon.org.au/
2. If you have registered a child before, then go to LOGIN in the top right hand corner. If you have not, then go to REGISTER. You will initially need to register yourself as you are the contact point. Once you are registered then you can add in children.
3. Once you add in children, make sure to choose a School. You need to choose St Francis de Sales Catholic Primary School Lynbrook. There are multiple St Francis de Sales so make sure to pick this one.
4. Once you’ve chosen our school, you’ll be all set to choose an avatar and ready to go.

And remember you don’t have to wait to August to start getting donations – everything is all set to get reading for an amazing cause.

Father’s Day is quickly approaching and with the uncertainty the current covid environment brings, PFA are working on possible alternatives to the traditional Father’s Day stall, should we be unable to operate a stall due to restrictions this year. We are monitoring the situation closely and will communicate with SFS families once we are able to confirm further details. Please watch this space and our Facebook page for updates as they become available.

Eucharist

MS Readathon and Weekly Activities. 

We are so excited to see the entries coming in this week for the design your book cover or character activity. They all look AMAZING!! Because lockdown has thrown us a little curveball, we will keep this first week’s activity open until Friday the 13th of August when we are back at school. 

The children are also very welcome to email their entry and we will print it for them. They can email it to:  pfavicepresident@sfslynbrook.catholic.edu.au 

Have a look at some of the fantastic entries that we have received so far – we might have some very talented future illustrators coming through SFS!!

We have next week’s activity all set to go also and here is a sneak peak of it. We will also extend out the hand in time of this one to Monday the 16th of August. It can be emailed or the children can hand it in when they get back. We will aim to get these out to the students via google classroom early next week.
