Foundation Students

Celebrating our  fabulous Foundies!

FA - Miss Zoe

Creative writing:

Josie took on her teacher's challenge to write a sort about a character she had made. We have only just started learning about how we write stories with a beginning, problem and solution. I think you have done an excellent job, Josie.

Silly Sandwich:

Harry S is never short of creative ideas and is always excited when his amazing drawing skills can be involved too. His silly sandwich was very silly - I don’t know if I would try that one! Great work at home.

FB - Miss Ady

Last week we celebrated Naidoc week. We talked about the different parts of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags and the significance of the colours and symbols. We also enjoyed reading Tiddalick the Frog, a dreamtime story, during literacy sessions.

Here is an excellent example of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags by Leila L

William E has drawn an excellent Tiddalick the Frog who finally learnt not to be greedy with all the water from the billabong

FC - Miss Lou and Mrs Clancy

Foundation C had a lovely time learning about  NAIDOC week. They enjoyed class discussions and read interesting books on this topic. The class loved making Naidoc bookmarks and designing their own Aboriginal flags and Torres Strait Islander Flag.
