Around Foundation (Prep)

It was wonderful to return to the classroom last week after lockdown 5.0. 

All of the children were excited to see each other and have enjoyed catching up with their friends. Over the past week, we have allowed time in the school day for group activities and team building exercises to help students reconnect.

Our Inquiry topic for this term is Keeping Ourselves Safe. In this unit of work the children have been learning about fire safety. They have learnt about safe and unsafe fires, how firefighters can help keep us safe and how to keep themselves safe in the event of a fire. The Preps have enjoyed making a cut and paste fire truck and writing about what they have learnt.
