Visual Arts

The Visual Arts Department is very much looking forward to an exciting year of creativity in 2019!

Over the break VCE students have been working hard on their folios. It is always interesting to see what themes and mediums the students will work with throughout the year and it is also important for students to visit as many exhibitions as possible over the holidays to encourage new ideas and gather some inspiration.

One exhibition the girls visited was the Baldessin/Whiteley- Inspiring Learning with Art and Design exhibition. Here are some visuals of the exhibition.

It is a great family outing and we encourage everyone to visit and enjoy the National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) and other gallery spaces.  You could even go to local commercial galleries. It is amazing how much fun you can have together when looking at the creative world around us and the many different artists who are exhibited throughout the year.
