Walk to School Week

Next week, 17th to the 21st of June will be Galilee Walk to School Week. This will work in cohesion with our Sustainability focus and Sustainability Market taking place on Thursday the 20th of June. 

We encourage families to walk either all or part of the way to school. This aims to reduce the level of air pollution created by motor vehicles and encourage the use of public transport. We will have prizes for the class that has the most students walking to school over the course of the week. So stay tuned!

Make sure you walk with an adult and cross the road safely!

Donations

A Huge thank you to those who are collecting donations.  All donations can be left at the school office in the black tub or any details/online vouchers to be emailed to events@gsmelbournesth.catholic.edu.au

Live Auction:  WE are still in need of Major auction items.  In the past we have had a dinner party donated by a chef, holidays, a surfboard, a signed print by an artist, a designer jacket and more.  If you have an idea let us know!

Silent Auction: We have started collecting donations for the silent auction.  You may personally be able to make a donation of a voucher or item for the live or silent auctions.  Or do you frequent a business that you could ask for a donation?  If you know of a business that may be able to donate please email or print out and take the donation letter to them.

Committee Meeting Report

Thank you to all those who were able to attend the Committee Meeting on 11th June.  Thank you to Simon Millar for coming along to hear about the upcoming events and plans for the community by the GPA, to James for giving us an update about the DOGS events, and to Irene for representing the School Board.  Many decisions were made and events confirmed.

GOSH News

We had an amazing days in Galilee creating so many "wintery" and not art & craft!

Marco. Ishaan, Ella, Maya, Evie, Anabella, Millie, Jensen, Maxie Y.-F., Sarah R., Zoe R., Katherine, Peter P. and many others impressed not only GOSH educators with their abilities to work in team, help others, colour's combinations and sense of beauty & harmony!!
