Library Technician

Welcome back to an exciting and very busy Term 4, which is what I like to call, 'The Christmas Term'. I hope you have all had a restful and enjoyable break. Whether staying at home or going away, it is wonderful to have that little 2 week break to recharge the batteries and get some rest.

Whilst I have been on holidays, the lovely Library Angels have been helping to keep your library in order. A very big thank you goes out to Emily (mum of Finn 3D), Glenys (mum of Liam 5C) and Mel (mum of James 3F and Phoebe 1H). I know your care and help has been appreciated by all the staff and students, and especially by me.

By the time you read this newsletter, the library will have been transformed into a giant bookshop, with the arrival of the Scholastic Dino-Mite Book Fair. This will be a mega sized book fair, with giant savings on a huge range of books. So get your big feet ready to stomp into the fair next week. A list of opening hours is included in this newsletter.

Would you like to win $60 worth of books from the Book Fair? Well all you have to do, is guess how many books are in the Kingswood Primary School library. There will be a class list in each grade, for you to enter your guess. Everyone can enter but only once. On Friday 25th, I will collect the lists and the winner will be the person with the correct guess, or the closest to it. In the event of there being more than one winner, those students' names will be placed into a hat and the winner will be drawn at assembly.

Here's a clue: there are more than 5,000 books but less than 12,000.

Happy guessing and see you all at the Dino-Mite Book Fair.
