Week 1, Term 2 2022
Every Monday Morning we come together as a school community to share prayer. We look forward to the RE Team, then Year 6 Gold followed by the Year 4 White class, who will lead us in prayer in the coming weeks.
AS A SCHOOL WE RAISED $900 FOR PROJECT COMPASSION
Our St Anne’s school community raised an impressive $900 last term for CARITAS: Project Compassion. An enormous thank you to all the students and staff who promoted this fundraiser and an even bigger thank you to all the people, particularly our students who worked hard to raise this money and who generously donated to this worthy cause.
REGISTERING AND BOOKING FOR SACRAMENT OF FIRST EUCHARIST IS NOW OPEN
Information Booklets about the Sacrament of Eucharist as well as details regarding registering and booking for the Sacrament of First Eucharist will be sent home via Operoo this week to our Year 4 families.
The Parish of Our Lady of Mount Carmel asks that you please register your child for the Sacrament of First Eucharist. The registration fee for this Sacrament was paid last year as part of the registration of Reconciliation. Please note there will be a maximum of 26 candidates that will be able to celebrate their Eucharist at each Mass, therefore registration and date selection is on a first in best dressed policy.
REGISTRATIONS CLOSE: Sunday 22nd May 4:00pm

Saturday 30th July 5:30pm at St Anne's Church, Sunbury

Sunday 9th October, 2pm at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
PLEASE NOTE: Information regarding the Sacrament and registering and booking for the Sacrament of Confirmation will be via TryBooking and will be sent out later this term.
Sacrament of First Reconciliation
Thursday 20th October, 5pm & 7pm at St. Anne’s Church
PLEASE NOTE: Information regarding the Sacrament and registering and booking for the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be via TryBooking and will be sent out early Term 3.
YEAR 1 & YEAR 2 FAMILY FAITH NIGHT
TUESDAY 17TH MAY 6PM AT ST ANNE’S CHURCH
Our Year 1 & Year 2 Family Faith Evening will be held on Tuesday 17th May 6:00pm-7:00pm in St Anne’s Church.
The focus of the evening is ‘Our Church, Our Mass, Our Family’, and we will explore our Church and how we can find connections with how we celebrate as a family to how we celebrate as a Church Community in the mass.
We encourage all our Year 1 & Year 2 children with their parents to join us. Families will be required to book their attendance prior to the event using the TryBooking link that has been sent home.
YEAR 1 & YEAR 2 FAMILY MASS
SUNDAY 29TH MAY 10:30am AT ST ANNE’S CHURCH
On Sunday 29th May at St Anne's Church at 10:30am we will celebrate a special Year 1 & Year 2 Family Mass. We invite and encourage all families to join us at this special Mass.
EASTER PARALITURGIES:
On Thursday, our students will participate in special Easter Paraliturgies. Through prayer the students reflected on the meaning of Easter and listened to the story of Jesus’ resurrection as well as other stories of Jesus’ appearances after his resurrection.
