Great Holiday Activity At The Newham Hall!

Give your kids something different to do these holidays. Una Mitchell, a lifetime local of Newham, is running her 6th origami workshop at the Newham Mechanics Institute on the 12th of April. Two hours of learning the basics of origami and making up to six different models (take home everything you make!). Newham Easter Arts and Crafts Workshop

Easter Fun was back at the Newham Hall last Saturday. Fran Spain organised an array of Easter activities including painting bunnies, discovering dinosaurs in eggs and decorating eggs.  Everyone had an amazing time and with the support of our amazing helpers Lee, Sue, Marie, Rachel and Megan; everyone had a day of fun and discovery. With the proceeds of the day and a generous donation from the Newham Garden Club, $240 was raised for the Newham Primary School Kitchen Garden Program. A huge thankyou to all involved.
