Grade 6 Distinctive Area Landscape Conference and Excursion

The Grade 6s were lucky enough to take part in a special environmental conference. They worked through a digital workshop provided by Inverloch Primary School about coastal erosion then began planning their own workshop about forests in our area. In the afternoon, we explored and recorded the features of the wet forest at Camel’s Hump and the dry woodland at Black Hill Reserve. An incredible day!

Kitchen Garden

456 have been lucky enough to enjoy Kitchen up at the hall. The students made butter from cream by shaking and shaking it in some glass jars. Then they used the butter in rolled up sandwiches. They LOVED it. Thanks for your organisation Jo!

Natural Art at Wesley Park, Newham

4/5/6 classes got the chance to head to the park at the hall and make some collaborative artworks from natural materials, inspired by Andy Goldsworthy. Fantastic!
