Principal's Report

Simone Wood, Principal

Hello Everyone!

Here we are at the end of the term. Covid has given many of us a last shove before the break, with a flurry of positive cases and lots of close contacts.

Just a reminder from DET, that the first 4 weeks of term 2 will require twice weekly Rapid Antigen testing (RATs) for students. Please ensure you have enough RATs ready for the beginning of term 2.

Dates for Term 2

Tuesday 26th April will be our own Anzac Day commemoration at 11.30 am in the school car park. Parents may attend but we will need some carpark space for the students, so please consider parking at the hall and walking down.

Friday 29th April will be Celebrating Autism (ASD) in April Day. Students can come out of uniform and wear Yellow or wear their favourite Hoodie and ‘Hoodie up for Autism’. You may even choose to do both! Classes will participate in discussion/activities on the day.

Also here is a link to information on the Diverse Learners Hub on ASD.  It includes information for schools, parents, and students.
