Payments - PLEASE READ

We have had a number of queries in the Office regarding BPay and School/Family Codes.

The Office LOVES BPay as it greatly simplifies our processing and reduces the amount of paper used – especially at this time of year when we are flooded with payments.

When you receive an invoice, there will be two codes noted: The Biller Code is the School Code. It will not change for any payment.

The Ref Code is 10 digits. This is YOUR personal Family code and will also not change, so you can make repeated payments for your student/s using these codes whenever you receive an invoice.

If you have any further questions please email us at caulfield.ps@education.vic.gov.au.

Accident, Injury & Property Insurance

Parents are advised that the school does not have insurance covering injury from accidents or damage to, or loss of, property. If wanted, parents would need to seek private commercial insurance. In the case of valuables being brought to school, we recommend anything deemed valuable be left at home in order to avoid loss or damage.

Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund applications

The Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund helps eligible families to cover the costs of school trips, camps and sporting activities.

If you have a valid means-tested concession card, such as a Veterans Affairs Gold Card, Centrelink Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card, or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible. There is also a special consideration category for asylum seeker and refugee families.

Payment amounts this year are $125 for eligible primary school students. Payments are made direct to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions and sporting activities for the benefit of your child.

If you applied for CSEF through our school last year, you do not need to complete an application form this year, unless there has been a change in your family circumstances.

If you would like to apply for the first time, please contact the school office and ask for an application form.

You can also download the form, and find out more about the program and eligibility, on the Department of Education and Training’s Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund web page.

Check with the school office if you are unsure, and please return completed forms and a copy of your concession card to the school office as soon as possible.

Student Use of Mobile Phones Policy

As per our School Policy, any phones brought to school must be turned off and securely stored during school hours. It is suggested that phone tracking on your child’s phone is turned on in case it gets misplaced. As always, no responsibility can be accepted for the loss of or damage to phones or other valuables.
