Sacred Heart

As I mentioned last newsletter, students have been visiting 'The Loft' for a prayer service focused on the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

All students took with them a small red heart to hang somewhere where they would see it each day, to remind them of how much Jesus loves them.  For any students who missed out, I have some extra in my office.

As Wellbeing Week approaches it is a perfect time to reflect on how prayer aids us to keep a healthy mind and healthy community. The ritual of prayer can centre us and remove us from the stresses and busyness of our daily lives. It can put us into a place where we can reflect on our own choices, our dreams and on those who share our life journey.

Prayer can be a time of thanks, blessing and praise. The hardest part is probably pausing to stop and remember to pray. Hopefully the small red heart will help us all to remember to find time for God in our lives.

Prayer can be as simple as...

O Sacred Heart of Jesus I place all my trust in you.

Take care and keep safe,

Jo Cowan
