Principal's Message

From the Principal
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you all enjoyed the benefits of the long weekend and managed some quality time with your family.
As we draw to the end of another term I wish to congratulate our students on the enormous effort they have put into their learning this term. This week I have been reading their reports and I am very proud of their achievements, both socially and academically. I am incredibly grateful to our teaching staff for the enormous amount of time and effort they have put into ensuring the reports are an accurate representation of each child's achievements. Reports will be sent home next Friday 24th June.
Covid Update
There have been no reports of Covid in the community in the past fortnight. Please know we have plenty of Rapid Antigen Tests available at the school should you require them. These are available to take from the reception area. Please contact the office should you wish to have some sent home.
Working With Children Checks
We have noticed that many parent's WWC's have expired. It is essential that anyone coming onsite have this current check (drop off and collection of children excluded) so that you can participate in helping with PMP, school excursions, classroom helping when requested etc. We understand that Covid has probably played a big role in this situation but could you please check your that current cards are up-to-date.
Trivia Night
Thank you to Laura Petrie for organising the recent Trivia Night. A great deal of fun was had by all and while the purpose of the event was to be social we still managed to raise $1,961. A great outcome all round!

CONGRATULATIONS to the Florio family on the safe arrival of Massimo Matteo Florio, born Sunday 12th June weighing a tiny 2.7kg and 47cm. Monica and Massimo doing well.
