Year 10 Work Experience – Employer Feedback
During the last week of Term 2, we had over 50 year 10 students undertake their Work Experience placement. Overall this week ran smoothly with teachers reporting on the great work that our students were undertaking.
The work experience placements were in varied industries. Some industries included- Building & Construction, Hospital, Education & Childcare, Warehousing, Hair & Beauty, Administration, Plumbing, and Trades assistants.
Some employers have already returned the student evaluation form and it was very pleasing to read positive comments about our students.
Some employer comments were:
“...he is a forward thinker and very switched on…a brilliant worker...”
“...was amazing and we enjoyed having her...”
“...great hands-on worker...”
“...was a delightful student and is welcome back as a casual if she is interested...”
“Great worker, very conscientious and well spoken.”
“...would make a great Teacher.”
I placed a Year 10 TEAMS notice on 20th July with a list of students who can collect their work experience evaluations from my office so please come during one of your breaks next week to collect.
I would like to thank all the teachers who assisted with contacting our students on placement to ensure that their experience was going well.
I would also like to congratulate all our Work Experience students for their amazing performance. I hope you gained valuable insights into an industry that you may be considering for the future.

TERTIARY OPEN DAYS 2022
Further on from the notice I placed in the year 10-12 TEAMS on 23rd May, I would like to remind Senior School students about the upcoming Open Days.
Attending Open Day provides the opportunity to view campus facilities and also speak to course advisors and current students…things you can’t get from a web page or course guide!
