On day 1, students saw the magnetic and cathedral termite mounds at Litchfield National Park, then visited Florence Falls where the students had a lovely swim in the water.

On Thursday students went on the Yellow Waters Cruise, had a lovely swim at Kakadu lodge, and went to Ubir for a sunset walk. The bus broke down with a burst coolant pipe but the bus driver managed to repair it.

On Friday students went to the Bowali visitor center and stopped in Pine Creek to stretch their legs and on to Katherine to set up for the night.

Over 2 days, students went on the Nitmiluk cruise through Katherine Gorge, which stopped at Mataranka Thermal Pool which had a lovely 34 degrees, and then stopped at Banka Banka on the way to Alice Springs.

The group then made their way to Devils Marbles Conservation Reserve where they found hundreds of boulders scattered across the plain. They made their way to Alice Springs and we were surprised to find the bunk house which meant no tents for the next 2 nights!

Over the last 2 days, we made our way to Kings Canyon and then on to Uluru where

special stand-out awards were shared on the last night.

Students have said they are sorry the camp has ended and that they will have memories to last a lifetime.

Road Smart Driver Education

On Wednesday 13th July, our Year 10 cohort attended a presentation on Road Safety. Students learned about the importance of being safe while driving and even learned some great tips on how to stay safe on the roads.

Road Smart is a free education program that helps prepare beginner drivers for a lifetime of safe driving.
