New - Sacrament of Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation

Congratulations to all our students who received their Sacraments of Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation on the weekend. What joyful celebrations each of our three Sacramental Masses were. 

Thank you to all students & families who were involved. You were amazing right throughout the journey, working together during the preparation and it all coming together for our very special celebrations on Saturday & Sunday. 

Thank you to Fr Peter, Mel Sheils, Sr Pam, Sarah Maloney, Jacqui Avard, Grace Natalizio and all the Sacramental Team and St. Mel's staff who helped the children on their faith journey and especially at our Sacramental Masses over the weekend, we couldn't have done it without you. Being a part of this community really gives us a great sense of belonging.

New - St Mel's Parish - Calling for Volunteers

We are back to our normal mass routine since we had COVID restrictions.

We are planning our new roster for commentators, readers and Eucharist ministers. We would like to include more volunteers especially our 5pm mass.

If you are interested and willing to support these ministries, please reply via email - sheppartonsouth@cdos.org.au or call the office on 03 5831 2194 as soon as possible to be included in our next roster starting on the 3rd of July.

New - Spiritual Nourishment for Carers

Thursday 21 July 2022, 1pm-4pm

Presented via Zoom or in-person.

Carers live with profound beauty amidst the challenges of daily life. We offer these reflection/retreat days for carers who may need support, a place of welcome and some nurturing.  The session will offer an opportunity for carers to take some time out for themselves, if they are able, and join us for one or both of these reflection days.

We invite you to re-energise your mind and replenish your spirit.  Led by Heart of Life spiritual directors, Carole Carmody rsm and Cathy Beaton.  

Cost $30 per session.
