Grade 6 celebrating the end of a great term

Grade 6 students have been working hard all term. Spelling, reading, writing and maths are covered regularly. Wherever possible these important skills are integrated and used to support the exciting units of inquiry. A highlight has been the debates about various energy forms where students excelled, researching their topic and then using persuasive language to convince the judges of their position. Greater levels of collaboration have been required this term, to prepare the students for next term's exhibition unit and they have risen to the challenge. The students have also been learning a great deal about cyber safety and are looking forward to taking their laptops home to work on their exhibition presentation. We look forward to seeing what can be achieved as they use the many skills they have been refining during their time in Primary School.
