COVID-19 Safety Update
COVID-19 Safety Update (Repeat)
The College has reviewed its COVID-19 safety procedures in line with the withdrawal of the Public Health Order on the 30th of June. The College’s highest priority is to keep our school community safe and well, which is achieved by implementing preventive measures and practices.
As part of our continued COVID-19 safety procedures, the following will be implemented:
- COVID cleaning services will continue throughout the day for Term 3;
- Sanitisation and cleanliness processes will continue to be available and followed;
- Student’s will continue to sanitise their hands when they enter a room;
- Student desks will be cleaned at the end of lessons;
- The buses will be sanitised after each use;
- Students/staff will be required to ‘Stay home if you are unwell’;
- Secondary students and staff will no longer be required to wear masks generally, but will be supported if they choose to do so;
- Secondary students and staff will be required to wear masks for whole school assemblies only.
From Term 3, parents will be able to attend Primary or Secondary (not whole school) assemblies. An appropriately distanced seating section will be provided in the auditorium for parents/guests.
We will continue to follow advice provided by the Tasmanian Government and the Department of Education.
RAT kits will be available from the College when required for close contact monitoring.
