EDUCATION IN FAITH
Welcome to Our Class Mass
Today our Middle classes attended their Class Mass. Once a term each level attends and celebrates Mass with the Saint Joseph's Community. Thank you to the family members that were able to join us, it is always exciting to share these experiences with family. Congratulations to the students who read the prayers of the faithful so reverently and to those who participated in the Offertory Procession. Well done must go to the whole year level who represented Saint Joseph's beautifully and made us proud! Participating in this class Mass is great preparation for our upcoming celebration of the Sacrament of First Eucharist on June 4.
Sacrament of First Eucharist
The Sacrament of First Eucharist will be celebrated at Saint Joseph's Church on Saturday 4th of June at 5.30pm. The Year 4 children are peparing in class through the Religious Education program and working with Fiona. If your child is wanting to participate in this Sacrament and you have not previously notified the school we ask that you do so ASAP, so that they are included in the extra instructions relevant to receiving the Sacrament. As always any questions or concerns please contact me at anytime.

Religious Education at Saint Joseph’s
We are a Catholic School that models Religious Education lessons around the teachings of the Gospel where we are all encouraged to be the best person that we can be. We promote curiosity and wonder when exploring themes of Social Justice and we approach this learning using an Inquiry method based on the Pedagogy of Encounter. We explore other religions in the context of the Christian faith and encourage tolerance and acceptance of all people and all religious denominations.
