Dental for Schools
The Dental for Schools van will be visiting our school between 20-24th June. Permission forms were sent home last week. Can you please return these to your classroom teacher for a free dental check up.
Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre
You are invited to celebrate the opening of the new Mitchell Park Sports and Community Centre on Saturday 25 June 10am - 4pm. The day will include a number of sports, live music, face painting, performers and food available throughout the day. Refer to the flyer below for more information:
Marion LIFE
This month MarionLIFE are seeking to raise $50,000 to continue to provide meaningful, flexible and responsive support to people in our community. This amount will allow us to help ensure that we can cover the expenses of running our centre in the year ahead.
They can’t do this work alone. Please contact the Marion LIFE team if you can give meaningful support this June so that more families and individuals can receive life changing opportunities. Here are a few ways you could get involved this June:
- Become a regular donor, to bring hope to those in our community who are courageously facing challenges such as unemployment, homelessness, mental health issues and isolation. Our target amount will allow us to help ensure that we can cover the expenses of running our centre in the year ahead.
- Donations are tax deductible and can be made online here https://marionlife.org.au/donate/
- Drop off some non-perishable food items to the centre to support people in need of Emergency Relief (or alternatively – stop by the centre and collect a green donation tin to use at your work place, church or school to collect donations for MarionLIFE).
