FOUNDATION

1/2 haV been learning all about friendship this term. In literacy we have been reading "Do you want to be my friend?" and have explored how to include others in their learning. They've learned how to welcome others into their play using the Jackson Weekly Greeting, have made friendship bracelets, pictures and created cards for their friends. They are continuing to practice being a kind and respectful friend and it is wonderful to hear their conversations with others that reflect this.

LOWER PRIMARY

On Friday 6 May, the 3/4 team went to Bunnings to create an art piece for Mothers Day. We had a lot of fun decorating our wooden napkin holder by using special wood textas, stickers and little gems. All students are very proud of their creations and enjoyed our trip to Bunnings.

UPPER PRIMARY

5/6 students have had a fantastic start to Term 2!

Over the past two weeks we have been attending swimming lessons, practicing putting our faces in the water, blowing bubbles and kicking with the board.

In maths, we continue to build our number skills, skip counting on a number line and adding two numbers by counting on from the largest number.

Our inquiry topic for Term 2 is family. We have been discussing how all families are different, drawing pictures of our families and activities we like to do together.
