Ambassadors for Reconciliation

This Saturday at Oxford Falls there will be an Acknowledgement of Country prior to the commencement of the First XV Rugby vs St Aloysius. Teams will be playing for the Ross Fagan Shield in their indigenous playing jersey – showing support for the process of reconciliation in Australia and a future marked by tolerance, respect and acknowledgement of past detrimental policies and attitudes.

Chapel Mass

This coming Monday, 23 May, Mr Gillogly’s Year 9 Religion class will host our Chapel Mass.

New Edmund Rice Society Leadership

Monday will see the appointment and commissioning of the New Edmund Rice Society student leadership. These young men will guide the student body towards a greater understanding of the spirituality of Edmund Rice – a spirituality based upon working for social justice in our world by assisting those on the margins. At Monday’s assembly our Annual Winter Appeal will be advertised ahead of our Week 6 to Week 8 collection period. We will be supporting the work of St Vincent de Paul and the Jesuit Refugee Services.
