Remote Learning in the Primary School
REGGIO PRIMARY ART / PERFORMING ARTS
While learning remotely, Reggio Art/Performing Arts students have created some highly creative work. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have. The art work and the videos are amazing. Well done to all my students.

2. 'Photo wall' in the classroom from our Animal Project.
During the early part of remote learning, 4C embarked on the Humans & Animal World Main Lesson. This was followed by an Animal Project in which they had to research, write and draw their chosen animals. The children submitted fantastic work, which now adorns our entrance to the classroom. I have been really impressed by the class's adaptation to working at home and the quantity and quality of the work completed. Very well done 4C! Nick McKenzie

CLASS 6C REMOTE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Learning from home has been different for us all. There have been positives like sleep-ins, barriers to overcome and new routines to establish. All in all Class 6C has adapted well and been doing their best at home.
Here are some of the student's own reflections on Remote Learning in our last week at home:
Johanna: I have found doing my work at home easy except for the interruptions from younger siblings. It has been nice to be able to go outside and roller-blade and go on the trampoline.
Zsofia: I feel Remote learning is the worst thing that has ever happened to me. I prefer going to school, but the only good thing about it is I can eat whenever I want and take breaks whenever I want.
Osgar: It's been pretty good. I think its better than school but I would prefer to see my friends more. I haven't been in physical contact with anyone except people in my family for months which is weird. I also really like being able to make things at home on top of my school work.
Xavier: Remote learning has been the joy of my life. I can just get up when I want, listen to music while I work and eat whenever I want.
Leo C: It's been very different and made me appreciate school a lot more. It's been very fun being able to sleep in a bit longer and being able to do my work with my family. Also, it's been very nice to be home because I get to go out and walk along our local creek a lot more than I used to.
During this time Class 6 undertook two Main Lessons: Poetry and Geology. Both have lent themselves to solo study at home well. Most of the children have enjoyed either or both of the topics and produced some beautiful and creative work.
