Levels 3 & 4

Level 3 Update

Level 3 have been very busy during the past few weeks of remote learning. We have been learning all about poetry and the various devices which are used to capture the audiences’ attention such as rhyme and rhythm. The students have published their own acrostic poems, haikus and cinquains showcasing the wonderfully creative talents right across the whole cohort. Level 4 Update

This term in Year 4 we have been learning about our planet Earth and how it is always changing and evolving. One topic we looked at in particular was the impact earthquakes and volcanoes had when they occurred. The students used their digital technology skills to navigate Google Earth and make a presentation on either 5 volcanic eruptions or 5 earthquakes. The pinned each location on Google Earth and then used their research skills to find out the impact these events had including when they happened, what caused it and the impact on the local area, including the loss of life to those living there at the time. The students did a great job and have continued to show us they learn new skills on their computers in an instant! Well done Year 4!
