Jells Park PS Update

Students in Levels 3-6 return to school next Tuesday. Please read the updated notice "Return to Onsite Learning - Levels 3-6" sent home to parents today. It reminds all families about the staggered start and finish time, which gate to arrive and depart from, etc. 

I know all the teachers and staff at Jells Park PS are really excited to see the students and be back in their classrooms.

As has been very clearly demonstrated by parents in the last 2 weeks, please be patient and understanding of the rearranged arrival and departure procedures. We believe this will help reduce the congestion around the gates and with the car parking, however please remember that there are also cars and students from Caulfield Grammar and the kinder around the school at the same time.

Learning from Home Survey

This survey was sent to families by email on Wednesday. All parents are invited to comment, and there is an option for students from Levels 4-6 to also comment. It would be great to have as many responses as possible.

Additional Parent Input

I am seeking interested parents who would be willing to provide comment and have discussion around our educational programs at Jells Park PS. In essence this would be the re-introduction of the Education Sub-committee. We would like to review some of our programs and would like parent input on new ideas and revamps to enhance our educational platform. Please contact me if you are interested.

Emails to Parents

I know there have been a lot of emails been sent home at the moment and you probably feel you have been flooded, particularly as we have been sending to BOTH parent contacts. The school has had requests from families to ensure that both parents get all emails and requests from other families for us to send emails to just the primary contact. Clearly we cannot do both, so we have erred on the side of both so that we know the messages get through. If you absolutely, definitely only want emails going to one parent contact, please contact the office and we will remove the secondary contact from the database.

Enrolments for 2021

Enrolments for 2021 are now being accepted. Information, enrolment forms and a Tour video are now on the school website. Please support the school by advising any prospective families to look at our website, download forms and get them to us as soon as possible.

If you are current member of the school community and have a Foundation child starting next year, please get an enrolment form in ASAP so we don't miss you in the process.
