What We Need
If we put our problems in God’s hand,
there is nothing we need to understand.
It is enough to just believe
That what we need we will receive.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
Psalm 139:9, 10
Today let go and let God
help solve your dilemma.
Helen Steiner Rice “From the Heart: One-Minute Devotions”
Dear Parents, Students and Friends,
This week has seen the return of students to the College. Seeing the smiles of students and staff as they greet one another face to face has uplifted the hearts of everyone. My thanks to everyone for following these arrangements. This schedule will now change next week (Week 4 of the term) with Year 11 and 12 attending every day. We expect further announcements from the NSW Government next week about changes from Week 5 onwards and we will advise you all when we know more.
WEEK 4
Monday - Year 11 and 12
Tuesday - Year 8, 11 and 12
Wednesday - Year 7, 11 and 12
Thursday - Year 9, 10, 11 and 12
Friday - Year 11 and 12
Winter Uniform
I am aware that there have been some delays with deliveries of the new Sports Uniform so there is some tolerance for that, however when students present to school in the Winter Uniform, it must be the full outfit, with blazer and tie. Parents please ensure that your student has the correct uniform.
Student Wellbeing Team
Congratulations to the Student Wellbeing Team for putting together a series of video clips on how to keep yourself well “body and mind” over these challenging times of isolation. These clips have been loaded onto our website and facebook page.
Happy World Support Staff Day (16 May)
Let me say a big "thank you" to all MCC Support Staff.
From the front door to the back gate each and every one of you does a tremendous job in giving not simply "your time and expertise" but also your heart to your work here at Marian.
Each of us may at times think that our work goes unnoticed but every day we witness your wonderful effort in the big and little things you do. Marian is a genuinely happy community because of your commitment.
We are proud to work alongside you.
Peace and best wishes
Mr Alan Le Brocque
