A key focus of our team is proactive educational programs including resilience building, anti-bullying, stress and anxiety management, peer group support, cyber safety, mental wellbeing and social media awareness. In conjunction with our Health and PE teachers, we also provide education on nutrition, drug and alcohol issues, sexual education and mental health awareness.

Horses are great at responding to our behaviours and attitudes providing immediate feedback to help participants become more aware of the impact they have on the people around them. Adding reflection and mindfulness nurtures self-awareness and self-regulation. Respectful Relationships Update:
This term our Resilience Rights & Respectful Relationships (RRRR) learning materials were introduced to students in years 7-12. Students participated in activities during L2L each week beginning with topic 1, Emotional Literacy and Challenge, Opportunity and Personal Strengths (Senior years). As part of Respectful Relationships, we are creating a school culture that aims to positively influence attitudes to promote gender equality among young Victorians. This is directly linked to the current National discourse on Consent, Respect for Women and Prevention of Violence Against Women. The RRRR materials are designed to develop students social and emotional skills by supporting them to recognise and regulate emotions, develop empathy for others and build and manage safe and respectful relationships through the teaching of eight different topics. This term our focus has been on our school value Respect. Respect was introduced alongside the RRRR curriculum and students were explicitly taught 3 behaviours:
Next term we will see the official launch of our new Matrix and continue the explicit teaching of Respect while introducing the value of Resilience. Students will continue to develop their Social and Emotional skills through the RRRR curriculum in L2L sessions.
