Mordialloc College Second Hand Uniform site

‘Mordialloc College Second Hand Uniform’ Facebook site, this Group has been designed for the buying and selling of Mordialloc second hand uniform only. On Facebook you just need to search up the site under Groups or go to:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/144803013857027

This is a volunteer initiative and the school has no direct involvement. We ask that you read the rules on the site before buying and selling. Any questions can be directed to the site administrator.

In deciding how to price your uniform, prices of new uniform items can be viewed through the link on the College website under ‘uniform’.

The site is for the buying and selling of uniform only. We are looking at setting up a similar site for textbooks later in the year. Watch this space!

Headspace - Free Mental Health Literacy Webinars for Parents and Carers

I’d like to draw your attention to two, upcoming free mental health literacy webinars for parents and carers of young people.

Date: Thursday 13th May

Time: 7pm – 8.15pm

Mode: ZOOM via event registration (please see separate event flyers attached for registration link and circulation)

Cost: FREE

Initiated by headspace National in response to a post-lockdown demand for increased mental health literacy in VIC, the webinars will aim to:

  • Strengthen parent and carer understanding of mental health,
  • build skills and strategies to support wellbeing and transition to work and study,
  • build awareness of local, state and national supports available to young people, and
  • showcase local headspace centre community resources.

The sessions will also feature local headspace staff who will be on hand to answer questions about referral processes and available services.

I would appreciate any effort to assist us to promote the webinars to your parent and community networks.
