Visiting our past students.

Glen Eira College has this fantastic tradition of asking their new year 7 cohort to invite a staff member from their former primary school, who had a positive impact on them, to visit and attend a speech ceremony and afternoon tea.  This year, Mme. Floch, Mme. Wilson, Mr. Stein, Mr. Lewis, Mr. Chant and Mme. Laforest had the honour of attending that special event.

Le Collège de Glen Eira a pour tradition de demander à leurs élèves en année 7 d’inviter une personne de leur école primaire qui les a influencé positivement, pour visiter leur nouvelle école, assister à des discours et performances des élèves, pour ensuite partager un goûter.  Cette année, Madame Floch, Mrs. Wilson Mr. Stein, Mr. Lewis, Mr. Chant et Madame Laforest ont eu l’honneur de se rendre à cet évènement très spécial.

« Nos anciens élèves de CJC nous ont accueillis, ils étaient si heureux de nous revoir; les discussions n’étaient pas ponctuées de silences inconfortables, mais plutôt de d’éclats de rire et de sourires.  Voilà un bel hommage à notre équipe enseignante qui a mis l’emphase sur le bien-être des élèves l’année dernière, afin de bien les guider dans leur transition vers l’école secondaire… Cet évènement renforcie les liens dans notre communauté et encourage le positivisme envers nos écoles. » - Mr. Ben Stein
