Skyline Foundation Program Winners
Congratulations to our successful Skyline Foundation Program winners!
Mount Erin College is privileged to have two students accepted into the Program. Congratulations to Tom W-A and David D.
Skyline Education Foundation Australia is a not-for-profit organisation which was founded in 2004 by the late John S Cheetham, a visionary education psychologist who understood the power of education to change the life of a child – in particular, a student with the intellectual ability to make a major contribution to the world, but who needed additional financial, personal, academic and career development support to shine.
The two-year Skyline Program is a unique ongoing student-centred program designed to support high ability, gifted and/or academically talented young people, with a growth mindset and leadership potential, aged between 16-18 from culturally diverse backgrounds who attend government schools, live in Victoria and need our help.
Our Program seeks to encourage these students to reach their full potential by supporting them to remain at school, undertake their VCE and then transition to tertiary education or career of choice. This year the standards were exceptionally high and we could only take 83 of the 130 students who were assessed.
