Literacy 

FOUNDATION BACK IN THE SWING OF THINGS!!

The Foundation children have now had 6 days back at school with their very excited (and relieved) teacher Miss Capomolla. Lucky ducks!

They have settled back into the swing of things beautifully! 

During Literacy time, the class has returned to the familiar whole-part-whole structure. The students have been immersed in many interactive and engaging whole class and small group literacy activities and games. They have enjoyed reading ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ and using this as inspiration to write their own letters. 

The students have also had the support of Miss Quinlan as well as our Learning Support Officers; Miss Portelli, Mrs Buzza and Mr Doquile working in the space. 

It is wonderful to be able to offer additional targeted teaching to our Foundation students at this time.
