Lunchtime Events, Activities and Bits & Bobs Club News
Over the last three terms, students across years, 7-12 have been heavily involved in the Viewbank College lunchtime activities community.
Students have participated in all sorts of clubs ranging from science to art & food.
Some of this terms clubs and activities include:
- Bits & Bobs Club
- STEAM Club
- Music Club
- Yarn Arts
- Movie Club
- Garden Club

As the end of the year is vastly approaching we encourage all students to get involved in a Lunchtime Club or a Lunchtime Event.
The lunchtime events and activities team would love to hear from students regarding what events and activities they would like to happen in the College for 2022.

Bits & Bobs Club
Bits & Bobs Club has been super busy over terms 3 & 4 with adapting to remote learning, running club sessions and workshops online and then returning to onsite and hitting the ground running all the activities that we had planned over the remote period.
Some of the students favourite activities so far in term 4 have proven to be:
- Squegee Art
- Jewellery Making
- Slime Creation
- Sustainable DIY Home Garden Projects
- Cookie Decorating
- Halloween Fun!
- Candle & Soap Making
Over the remote learning period we introduced a new competition relating to a new Australian Craft Competition TV show called ‘Making It Australia’.
All of our club members were really engaged with the competition and enjoyed using their artistic talents and being able to apply it to creating things.
We congratulate Year 7 student Niamh, for her amazing origami creation and are meaningful expressive intention.
Students have been so keen to attend the club and their craft creations are sensational! Anyone is welcome to join, so if this sounds like something you’d like to get involved in please come down to R11 on Tuesdays and Thursdays Break 1 or alternatively contact Jack Carter, Ms Robertson or Ms Reynolds.
