Every day counts
Attendance
A huge thank you to students, parents and carers for the excellent attendance in term 3. The school’s attendance rates during lockdown or online learning have been tremendous. Our students are doing a great job and that is due to the support of parents and carers as well as all the hard work of staff who are monitoring attendance, making phone calls home, and planning engaging lessons. Also, a huge thanks to the attendance team including Mr Floriano, Mrs Alfonsi, Mr Dunn, Mrs Stampetta and Mrs K Gacic.
Term 3 attendance: 96.66%
Whole year attendance: 92.53%
Returning to face to face learning
As students are about to return to face to face learning, there are some positive habits that they can adopt now that will make the transition back to normal school a smooth one. Parents can help their children prepare by ensuring that they partake in some of the following behaviours:
- Ensure that their uniforms still fit.
- Encourage a bedtime. Young people perform best and grow and develop well when they receive 8-10 hours of sleep each night.
- Start waking up at their regular time prior to coming back.
- Utilise their school diaries.
- Ensure that they pack their bags the night before.
