Continued success

The countdown is on for Year 12!

They have spent thirteen years preparing for it, intensely for the last two, and within a few weeks Year 12 students will commence their HSC examinations. Their HSC journey has certainly had its challenges in recent months, but they have maintained their focus and impressed their teachers with their dedication.  Martin Luther King Jr once said that ‘times of challenge’ are the ‘ultimate measure’ of a person, and Year 12 have proven that they will not allow the recent challenges to stop them.

The NSW Department of Education has provided Covid-safe HSC advice for students regarding preparing for the examinations and processes in place for attending examinations:

Year 12 will be provided with additional advice regarding HSC examinations prior to the first examination on Tuesday 9 November and are advised to regularly check their Google Classroom and email for updated advice and information.

At the conclusion of the HSC examinations, the Year 12 Graduation Ceremony on

Friday 3 December will acknowledge and celebrate their achievement of the HSC and the completion of high school. This ceremony will be attended by Year 12 students and live streamed for family and friends.

The Year 12 Formal has been rescheduled to Wednesday,15 December, pending restrictions in place in NSW on that date for this type of gathering. More information will be provided as the date gets closer and we have clarity regarding the easing of restrictions.

Congratulations Year 12! We are proud of you!

Year 7 - "We'll be back at school before we know it!"

Year 7 students are eagerly awaiting their return to school. Their commitment throughout Term 3 and all its challenges has been magnificent, with almost every student regularly attending Connect meetings on Tuesday and Friday mornings and every lesson every day. It has been wonderful to virtually visit classes and observe teachers and students in their lessons, in everything from fractions and decimals in Mathematics to ‘La mia famiglia’ in Italian.

As one Year 7 student said this week, "We’ll be back at school before we know it".

We are certainly looking forward to seeing all of you soon!
