CONGRATULATIONS - FCB Escola Camp ANZ

Grade 5 student Talisha Rushby was lucky enough to win a fantastic football prize kindly donated to FTA School Football Academy by @FCBEscoles ANZ!

Talisha took part in a 3 day 1/2 day camp at Kingston Heath from October 4th - 6th 2018 and learned the BARCA way that also included our head coaches and Tim and Olivia.

The program featured:

1. Training directly under FCB Youth Academy Coaches from Barcelona

2. Three Days of Intensive training

3. Learning the unique FC Barcelona Methodology

4. She received a full Nike FCB Uniform (Shirt, Socks & Shorts)

5. Learned to play the Barça way, with values that inspire FCB: Humility, Effort, Ambition,

and Respect & Teamwork

Talisha said “it was thrilling to see all the coaches and that they were really friendly people. She loved the training uniform, the matches and everything about the training. She learnt to always try hard, train hard, and to do your very best and try and keep possession of the ball.

School District Football Cup – Champions

FTA Participants Talisha, Alexandra, Anita & Honey represented College P-12 recently in a gala day at Soccer 5s for a school District football cup in which they won the tournament coming First. FTA Coaching staff were very proud of the girls and their efforts were outstanding. They scored a total of 34 goals throughout the day. The girls were very excited and it was great to see them all putting together everything they had learnt throughout the year.

FTA Football Clinics - Grades 3-5

On Monday the 12th of November FTA Football Coaches provided 2 clinics for student in grades 3-5 promoting the program for 2019. All students were involved in the FTA Experience and had the privilege of learning the FTA football methodology by head coaches Tim & Olivia and FTA football Director Lewis

Students took part in learning different skills and participated in a fun games. The camp was an opportunity for students to find out more about the FTA program and encourage those interested in joining the program for 2019. Each student received a brochure outlining more about the program.
