INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC

TERM 3

Term 3 has been full of exciting musical performances from students across all year levels. 

The Instrumental Music staff are extremely proud of all the hard work the Instrumental Music students have put in this term. 

We look forward to finishing 2015 with our End of Year Concert in Term 4.

SEPTEMBER SOIREE 

Congratulations to all students who performed as part of the 2015 September Soiree Performance night. 

With over 40 students performing on the Yarra Valley Grand Hotel stage, it was a treat to experience such well rehearsed pieces. 

Thank you to our hosts Kayla Gialelis (Year 10) and Emily Svarnias (Year 11) who kept the entertainment running. 

Special thanks to the students who also helped roadie and run technical gear on the night. We were extremely proud of the students representation of the school at the venue. 

Thank you to all parents, family and friends who also came along to support students in their performances.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Next term we will be introducing our four Battle of the Bands competing bands for 2015. Keep posted to the Instrumental Music Instagram account for more information on each competing band. 

The competition will be taking place at lunchtime on Friday 16 October in the Middle School Quadrangle.

END OF YEAR CONCERT

All students involved in Instrumental Music band/ensembles will partaking in the End of Year Concert in Term 4. 

The concert will take place on Monday 26 October in the School Hall at 6.30 pm. 

We look forward to another night of great music from the students involved.
