HOST FAMILIES NEEDED

2016 French visit - January 31 to February 16

Twenty three students from our sister school in France, Lycée Darchicourt, will visit Lilydale High School on exchange for three weeks.  The visiting students are in Years 10 to 12.  

We are still in need of several host families, especially from amongst those LHS students who are making the return visit to France later in 2016.

Hosting an international student can be a rewarding experience: it’s a great way to learn about another country and culture and establish a lifelong friendship.  

The students are here to experience life in Australia and to improve their English.  You do not have to provide numerous expensive outings.  The students may like to participate in everyday activities, such as a visit to a local market, shopping or your child’s family, social and sporting activities (where appropriate).  

You may like to join with another host family, to share the responsibility of some outings such as a visit to the beach.
