Bronze Medallist Youth's Bantam (56kg)

BOXING

Up to 1000 Commonwealth athletes aged 14-18 represented their country and competed for 107 Gold Medals in 9 sports over 5 days at the Vth Commonwealth Youth Games, taking place on the Pacific island nation of Samoa from Saturday 5 September to Friday 11 September.

Like the Commonwealth Games, all athletes stay in athletes' village-style accommodation and events comply with the relevant sporting federation's technical rules and regulations.

The Youth games nurtures new sporting global athletes by focusing on friendship, integrity and cross-Commonwealth inter-culture exchange - learning and living the Commonwealth Games Federation's values of Humanity, Equality and Destiny!

We would like to congratulate George on winning a Bronze medal in the Youth's Bantam (56kg) Boxing division.  Well done George!

SCHOOL UNIFORM 

Students are required to wear correct school uniform everyday, including travelling to and from Lilydale High School. 

Important Uniform reminders for ALL students

Girls Shoes

BLACK polishable hard leather low-heeled lace up shoes OR girls black leather T-bar shoes. 

Boys Shoes

BLACK polishable hard leather low-heeled lace up shoes.  No logos, runner styles, bands, stripes etc.

Socks 

All socks (girls and boys) must be WHITE not BLACK.   No logos, stripes etc.

Jackets

The only jacket that can be worn in place of the school jumper or windcheater is the LHS weatherproof jacket.  

Jumpers with hoods are not allowed.

Not to be worn 

Make-up, nail polish and excessive jewellery are NOT to be worn at school. 

NO FACIAL JEWELLERY is PERMITTED 

to be worn by students during the school day.

STUDENTS NOT RETURNING IN 2016

Year 9 and 10 students not returning to Lilydale High School next year, are required to complete the following form and have it signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the Middle School Office by Monday  12 October.
