YEAR 8 NEWS
Term 3 has been a busy one for Year 8 and Term 4 shows no signs of slowing down.
Year 8 has had successful boys and girls state netball teams under the supervision of Miss Cook Miss Wilson and Miss Rossetto.
Mr Neuman also took out the Year 8 Table Tennis team, who had a great day and are to be complimented on their excellent behaviour.
YEAR 8 IMMIGRATION MUSEUM
Year 8 students who are currently studying Geography are reminded to return their consent and payment forms for the excursion by Monday 12 October to ensure a place.
The students will depart from Lilydale Station at 8.53 am and return at 2.40 pm. At the museum students will engage in a self guided tour and also interview citizens about their ancestral origins.

YEAR 8 IMMUNISATIONS
A reminder that Year 8 students who have provided consent forms will be receiving immunisations for diptheria, tetanus and pertussis (whooping cough) on Wednesday 20 October.
Spare consent forms can be obtained from the Junior School Office.
SCHOOL UNIFORM
Students are required to wear correct school uniform everyday, including travelling to and from Lilydale High School.
Important Uniform Reminders
Girls Shoes
BLACK polishable hard leather low-heeled lace up shoes OR girls black leather T-bar shoes.
Boys Shoes
BLACK polishable hard leather low-heeled lace up shoes. No logos, runner styles, bands, stripes etc.
Socks
All socks (girls and boys) must be WHITE not BLACK. No logos, stripes etc.
Jackets
The only jacket that can be worn in place of the school jumper or windcheater is the LHS weatherproof jacket.
Jumpers with hoods are not allowed.
Not to be worn
Make-up, nail polish and excessive jewellery are NOT to be worn at school.
NO FACIAL JEWELLERY is PERMITTED
to be worn by students during the school day.
OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENTS
Please let us know if your child does something. We would love to know and acknowledge their achievements.
SCHOOL ABSENCE LINE
The school expects parents/guardians to contact the school in advance if they know their child is to be absent.
Please ring the School Absence Line prior to 9.30am and advise the student name, form group and reason for absence (illness, holiday, family reasons etc).
Student absences can ALSO be left on the Student Absence Line after hours.
An absence note upon return to school is then NOT REQUIRED.
OUTSTANDING ABSENCES
Students are reminded to return outstanding absence notes to the Junior Office promptly.
A reminder for parents and guardians, approving of all absences can be entered on Compass.
Parents and guardians who may have forgotten their Compass username and password, should contact the Junior School Office.
